Nintendo Wii – Screw the NEW stuff, GIVE ME THE OLD
April 5, 2008 on 11:27 am | In Gaming | No CommentsI own both XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii.
Bottom line – I like the new games on XBOX 360 better. I don’t like having to jump through my living room to play the latest and greatest games on my WII… but what I do love about Nintendo Wii is that I can download and play all of the old games that I used to love when I was 10 years old through the “Virtual Console.” Basically you purchase points either online or through the Wii itself, then you browse the old games and use your points to purchase them. It works out to about $20 per game.
You can play games from NES, SNES, N64, NEOGEO, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx (full list here). Some of my favorite old games: RYGAR, Super Mario World, Sonic the Hetchhog, Booble Bobbel, Marble Madness, Load Runner… oh I won’t bother trying to list them all.
